What are the Benefits of becoming a member

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Oregon Sheep Growers Association.
 OSGA is a non-profit organization designed to “promote, advocate and represent the interests of those individuals directly and indirectly associated with Oregon’s sheep industry.”
 As a member of OSGA, you also become a member of ASI—the American Sheep Industry Association. Your state and national membership helps to support legislative representation for the industry within Congress and the State of Oregon.

OSGA uses its resources to support various promotional and educational activities, such as:
> Educational programs and meetings for producers
> Oregon’s Annual Make it With Wool Contest
> Ag Country Sheep booth at Oregon Ag Fest
> Oregon State Fair prizes for 4-H and FFA participants
> OSGA newsletter focused on issues of importance to Oregon producers
> Annual Scholarship for a college student with a career interest in the sheep industry

To join, fill out the membership application and return to OSGA with your dues payment. Recent copies of ASI’s Sheep Industry News and a copy of the OSGA newsletter will be mailed with your welcome letter. As a member, you receive copies of both publications.
