How to apply to the Oregon Sheep Commission to obtain financial support for an industry-related project

The Oregon Sheep Commission places an assessment on the sale of wool for the purpose of enhancing the image of Oregon’s sheep industry and Oregon lamb and wool products, increasing demand for those commodities, increasing the knowledge regarding the healthful and useful qualities of these commodities, as well as to support research that benefits the production, processing, and marketing of Oregon lamb and wool products.

The assessment funds collected by the Commission may be used to support specific projects benefiting Oregon’s sheep industry and producers with a specific project they believe would benefit the industry may submit a written request for financial support.

The Commission provides guidelines for written requests/proposals. Please review the document titled OSC Funding Application.

Individuals are encouraged to attend a meeting and present their request in person. Please contact the OSC office for information about the next meeting or if you need more information about the application process by using the form Below or at OSC Apply .
